OBSP Summary Reports

The Branch of Quality Systems (BQS) operates an Organic Blind Sample Project (OBSP). One of the goals of the project is to document bias and variability for the National Water Quality Laboratory (NWQL) through the use of blind quality assurance (QA) samples. From these summaries, districts can be informed of the NWQL's performance on QA samples that parallel their own environmental samples.
Corrective Reports
Prior to 2003 the reports were considered corrective action reports. The OBSP assessed method performance on a sample by sample basis. The corrective action reports were provided to the NWQL for their review and comment.

(NOTE: The OBSP Summary Reports are created using Microsoft Word or Excel. It is advisable to use this or similar software when printing these reports.)
