| The Branch of Quality Systems (BQS) operates an Organic Blind Sample Project (OBSP).
One of the goals of the project is to document bias and variability for the National
Water Quality Laboratory (NWQL) through the use of blind quality assurance (QA) samples. From these summaries, districts can be informed of the NWQL's performance on QA
samples that parallel their own environmental samples. |
Quarterly Method Reports
The quarterly reports address recent changes in the method performance and is provided to the NWQL for their
review and comment. The quarterly reports will be posted in January, April, July and October of each year.
OBSP is in the process of improving their quarterly reports. Because this is still a work in progress the OBSP section
of the report includes comments in black and blue. The initial comments are reported in black. After reviewing the report
with NWQL, the OBSP realized more information could be written to aid the users in reviewing the quarterly report. These
additional comments are written in blue.
