The USGS Branch of Quality Systems - Organic Blind Sample Project (OBSP) purpose is to monitor, assess and evaluate the USGS National Water Quality Laboratory (NWQL) organic analytical results through the use of blind quality assurance samples. The OBSP was implemented in 1996 and reviews over 600 organic constituents.
